Summer 2025 Term Timetable
Please click here to read the timetable for our Summer Term 2025. Inside this term’s timetable, alongside our usual wide range of courses and workshops, you’ll find some exciting new opportunities such as:
Introduction to SLaM Recovery College
Meet members of the SLaM Recovery College training team to learn about the recovery education opportunities on offer and how courses and workshops can support your wellbeing or the wellbeing of someone you support.
Buried in Treasures
A CBT-based pilot programme for service users living in Lambeth who struggle with hoarding and would like support to learn how to manage their possessions and home environment.
Choose, Create, and Learn Your Way to Recovery
An opportunity to join to a small group of fellow students making art and handling museum objects at the Horniman Museum. Each week will be a space for you to get curious about the ways you navigate your own recovery journey and explore what works for your unique feeling of wellbeing. You can share these in the group if you would like to.
Sing & Stroll
Taking place at South Norwood Lake and Grounds, this is a gentle one-hour stroll in nature, designed for those not experienced in walking. There will be time to be mindful, using sense-based techniques to be grounded, and to stop and sing simple songs about nature.
Forest Bathing
Forest bathing (known in Japan as Shinrin-yoku) is a practice or process of therapeutic relaxation where one spends time in a forest or natural atmosphere, focusing on sensory engagement to connect with nature. The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way.

News and other opportunities
An opportunity to help SLaM Recovery College pilot some evaluation material
We are currently designing an online form as part of our service evaluation, to ensure we are providing a safe and beneficial learning environment that meets our students’ needs. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help pilot a drafted feedback form with some questions about student experience and outcomes. This will involve completing the questionnaire, and providing some written feedback about the language of the questions used and the ease of completion. This is not a paid opportunity, but your input will be extremely valuable in making sure student voices are heard in this important process.
If you are interested, please respond to [email protected] to find out more. Deadline for this will be the 8th of April.
You are invited to the Maudsley Careers Fair!
