improvisation and stand up comedy courses from the comedy school!

14/9/2017

We couldn't confirm this in time for our autumn timetable, but we are delighted to welcome our friends over at the Comedy School back for not only another seven-week Improv course, but also a brand new Stand Up Comedy one!

Improvisation Course

The Comedy School, supported by SLaM’s Social Inclusion, Hope and Recovery Project (SHaRP) and SLaM Recovery College, are offering an exciting opportunity for 16 students who want to develop confidence, learn skills to work alongside others, and think on their feet, by using improvisation as the learning method.

Our expert tutors will guide you through the fundamentals of improv (unblocking the imagination, making offers, positivity, listening, collaborating) all the way to basic performance readiness. No previous experience of improvisation or performing is required.

The seven-week course has funding from The Comedy School Charitable Trust.
