All these sessions are, as always, free of charge.
Some of our webinars are run as Live Events on the Microsoft Teams platform, meaning that you can join anonymously and will be neither seen nor heard. Instead, you interact by typing questions and comments into a Q&A panel. Other webinars are delivered in the Teams Meetings format for a limited group of students, where you will be seen and heard, but these will be clearly identified as such.
If you can't make a particular live event you can still enrol and use the link we'll send you to watch a recording later.
We’re Going Back to the Classroom!
Starting in October, we are making a gradual return to face-to-face sessions, with classes at the ORTUS Conferencing and Events Venue on the Maudsley campus, as well as at Dulwich Picture Gallery. See below for details.
World Mental Health Day
The Maudsley Charity are marking this year’s World Mental Health Day (Sunday 10th October) with a programme of talks, activities and workshops, brought to you by some of the projects they support, across South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience, King’s College London and the local South London community, on Friday 8th October.
SLaM Recovery College will be there, running short one-hour sessions on self-compassion, eating healthily, maintaining wellbeing, emotional first aid, getting a good night's sleep, and parks, walks and walking meditation. We’ll also be offering 1:1 sessions about the college and what we offer, and helping you to improve your digital skills
To register for any sessions during the day, please visit the Maudsley Charity's Eventbrite page:

Come and Meet Us at the Ortus
Venue: ORTUS (Mezzanine), 82-96 Grove Lane, SE5 8SN (back of the Maudsley Hospital campus). ORTUS website: http://www.ortusevents.com/
SLaM Recovery College team members will be present on the mezzanine floor at the Ortus from 10am-4:00pm every Monday. This will be an opportunity for any current or potential students to have an informal chat with members of the training team about the recovery college and what is on offer. We will be in the middle of the mezzanine at the large table with a banner, so you won’t be able to miss us!
The team members can also support students to complete an online enrolment if they need some assistance. We hope that, as the impact of the pandemic lessens, we can expand this service to all of SLaM’s boroughs.
SLaM Recovery College's Digital Inclusion Project
