an invitation to a patient and public involvement workshop

24/8/2017

The Centre for Implementation Science (CIS) and King’s Improvement Science (KIS) from King’s College London are holding a Patient and Public Involvement workshop on Wednesday 27th September at Cambridge House in Camberwell, South London. The workshop is from 9:00am-1:30pm and lunch will be provided at the end of the workshop.

The organisers say:

"The workshop will be attended by patients and the public who live, or use health services, in South London, and CIS and KIS researchers. The aim of the workshop is to explore the best ways that we can work together to implement health research evidence into practice and improve health services in South London. Because of this, we are looking for individuals to join us who have experience or interest in health service improvement and delivery. We hope to establish a working relationship between our local community in South London and our research organisation. The workshop will be facilitated by Mary Robson, an external creative facilitator.

There are currently around 10 places available at this workshop. To register your interest to attend, please contact either Louise Hull ([email protected]) or Sophie Wilson ([email protected]). Please include your name, email address and/or phone number, and which organisation you heard from us through.

Due to limited spaces, we may not be able to offer a place at the workshop for everybody who registers. However, we strongly encourage people to register their interest so that we can create a list of people who are interested in upcoming projects and events.

Please note that you will be financially reimbursed for your time and lunch as well as refreshments will be provided.

We will make every effort to accommodate everyone that wants to attend. If you have any concerns about not being able, for any reason, to participate in the workshop, but would like to, please let us know and we will work together to try and find a solution."
